Halloween felt like the perfect time to launch a new email-based newsletter. Each month, I’ll share my book news and writing inspiration. I’ll also suggest an essential oil combination and share a quote for inspiration.

The theme of this month’s newsletter is brightness. As we move into longer nights in the Northern hemisphere, do those sparks and stars shine even brighter?

The darker the night, the brighter the stars. — Fyoder Dostoeysky, Crime and Punishment 1866

What do you think?

If you’d like to read more of my thoughts on how the light shines in the dark, and what this has to do with my latest YA Fantasy novel, click on the preview below.

And if you’re inspired to write a character with equal light and dark inside, like my latest protagonist, let me know what comes of it!
