The Fire Giant is coming

Hello readers young and young at heart.

My next book is coming out soon. The Fire Giant, for 7–10 yr olds, deals with themes of the awakening inner fire and how we can befriend emotions like anger.

Maria lives in Southwest Mexico. She’s bullied at school and angry about the litter in the volcanic park near her city. She shares this anger with the Fire Giant who lives in the volcano. But the Fire Giant threatens to erupt the volcano, destroying the city. Can she use her own awakening powers to stop him?

I’m looking forward to sharing this book with the world this Spring (April/May 2023). Handersen Publishing has already created an amazing cover, and my brother John is contributing wonderful illustrations.
